EXPLORE VIS ISLAND
Of all the Croatian islands, Vis is the most mysterious – even to locals. With over seven hundred islands in Croatia it’s hard to choose which islands to visit.
Our favourite island in Croatia has retained it’s charm and resisted development. It has some of the best beaches in the country, has fabulous fresh seafood and local wines and imparts a feeling of laziness even though there is a lot to do.
By many, the most beautiful beach in the Adriatic is located in the Stiniva bay on the island of Vis, its enchantments and fairytale appearance rarely can anyone resist
DAY TRIPS IN ISLAND OF VIS
The Blue Cave, also known as the Blue Grotto (Modra špilja), is a stunning natural treasure located on the island Biševo, five kilometres south of Vis island. The cave is famous for the mesmerising blue light filling the space at a certain time of day
Srebrna, known to many as the “silver beach”, Srebrna is located in the small tourist town of Rukavac on the southeastern side of the island. Arguably the most popular beach on the island of VIS, Srebrna is also one of the most beautiful.
Mount Hum (Croatian pronunciation: [xûːm]) is a mountain located on the island of Vis, Croatia. It is the highest elevation point of Vis with its 587 metres (1,926 ft). A military radar station is located on the top and the peak is not accessible to civilians.
